Yesterday afternoon my holidays started. The last class I had was English class. We presented group works about inventions of the 20th century on that class. While other group works were being presented a friend of mine used a portable PC to present me the MPC. A Music Production Center can be defined as an electronic musical instrument produced by the Japanese company Akai. My friend explained me the basic working of MPC’s and showed me a video from Boon Doc using an MPC 1000.

I was very impressed by that. I knew nearly nothing about MPC’s. I didn’t even know their names. Now I think having one would be good. But I don’t know if it is worth having one. They’re expensive (around £1000) and I think I wouldn’t have much time to use it. I also don’t know if I would be capable of making good music with it.

That friend has decided to change school and school course. I won’t be able to see him for a long time, I think.
